Leesville- Mr. Donald “Donnie”, “Papa D” Leroy Yuftczak, 76, went home to be with the Lord Friday July 31, 2015.
Mr. Donnie was the loving father of Patricia Perdue and Joyce Vertein–Elam of Leesville and Donald Yuftczak of FL; grandfather of Gregory “BooBoo” Bonnie, Pamela Murray and Joyce Murray of Goose Creek, Lisa and Keith Altman of Dillon, Samantha Vertein of AL, Cheryl O’Quinn and Danny Yuftczak of Clearwater, FL; and brother of Florence Bossone, Shirley Travo of Norwalk, CT and the late Leon Yuftczak. Mr. Donnie was married to the late Maxine Virginia Goodyear Yuftczak for 41 years prior her death in 2003.
Mr. Donnie was the son of the late Michael Joseph and Hazel Irene Grover Yuftczak.
Mr. Donnie was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of a VFW Post in Connetticutt.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday at 5 pm in the Convent Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastors Travis Crumpton and Leo Senn officiating.
