Wagener – Ms. Ann Salter Young, 52, entered rest Monday July 29, 2013.
Ms. Young was born in Aiken County to Barbara Quattlebaum Salter and the late James Allen “Hunchy” Salter. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter; Rachael Young, brother; Allen (Norma) Salter and sister Amy (Randy) Schumpert niece; Jessica (Barry) Floyd, nephew; Jay Salter, and a number of caring and devoted friends. A special friend and caregiver; Steve Eubanks. Ms. Young was also preceded in death by her nephew Jake Schumpert.
A Service celebrating the life of Ms. Young will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday in the Bethcar Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Addy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship building following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society at 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210-1790.
