Wagener - Mr. Roy Edward Woodby, Sr., 69, entered into rest Monday December 3, 2012.
Mr. Woodby is survived by his children; Roy E. Woodby, Jr. and April Foytik, sisters; Susan Moore, Judy Abouremeleh, and Avis Woodby, brothers; Timothy Woodby, Roger Woodby and Joseph "Joey" Woodby, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Woodby was born in Marion, N. C., the son of the late Roy and Bertah Hall Woodby. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in Vietnam. He bacame a barber at the age of sixteen. The youngest licensed barber in teh state of Virginia and later became a maste barber. He was also a pipe and boiler insulator working with his brothers.
