Salley – Life on earth ended for Johnney Wade Williamson, 43, early Sunday morning.
Johnney was the son of Bill and Inease P. Williamson, the father of Megan Elizabeth and Haley Johnette Williamson, brother of Billy Joe and Donna Williamson, uncle of Cliff and Ashley Williamson, and Anna Williamson all of Salley. Johnney’s special friend was Lisa Lankford and her sons Justin and Austin.
Johnney was a member of Clinton United Methodist Church, foreman of the Wagener Section Shed for SC DOT, farmer, owner/operator of Hollow Creek Raceway and a member of the Hollow Creek Hunt Club.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St. South, Wagener, SC (803) 564-5333 and other times at the home of Billy Joe and Donna at 13 Hollow Creek Circle. A Service celebrating Johnney’s life will be Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. in the Clinton United Methodist Church with the Reverend David Williamson officiating. Johnney will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service for viewing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
