Lexington- Mr. Earl Williamson, 89, entered into rest Monday, December 13, 2010.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mrs. Ernestine Gunter Williamson; sons Jimmy, William (Andrea), Mike, (Josie), Rick (Jennifer), and Wayne Williamson; daughters Marie (Steve) Riley, Earlene (Jack) Shealy, Pat (Kim) Williamson, Tammye (Mike) Williamson, and Sandy (Todd) Shealey; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; a sister Era Mae Sharpe, and brothers Elliott and Guy Williamson.
Mr. Williamson was born in Aiken County to the late Elliott and Daisy Hoover Williamson. He was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. He was a retired carpenter and loved to fish, hunt, and garden.
Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Williamson will be Wednesday at 2 pm at Rocky Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Junior Jacobs officiating. Visitation will be at the church following the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
