Bernice Louise Poole Williams

Wagener - Mrs. Bernice Louise Poole Williams, 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday October 9, 2012.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 56 years; Lewis R. Williams, sons; Robert (Catherine) Williams and David Williams, and daughter; Lynn (Dennis) Zimmerman, grandchildren; Jessica Denise Williams, Amanda Michelle Williams, Michael Robert Williams, Ashley Denise Zimmerman, Connor William Zimmerman, and brother James Connor (Ola) Poole.
Mrs. Williams was born in Aiken County. She was the daughter of the late Connor R. and Annie Matilda Fanning Poole and also preceded in death by her siblings; Annie Mildred Axson, Gresham Poe Poole, Gustavus Ober Poole, and Ira Bee "Pedro" Poole. She was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church. She was a secretary for Iodine State Bank, Wagener-Salley High School and First Baptist Church of Wagener. She was a member of the Wagener Garden Club and the Wagener Woman’s Club.
Visitation for Mrs. Williams will be Thursday from 5 to 7 pm in the Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 3pm Friday at Mount Hermon Baptist Church with the Rev. Josiah Mazell officiating. Mrs. Williams will be placed in the church an hour prior to the service for viewing. Interment will be in the Wagener Cemetery.
