Laurie Richardson Will, 86, of 10116 Sharpsburg Pike, Hagerstown, MD passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at the Kline House in Frederick.
Born Saturday, July 26, 1924, in Wagener, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Ernest Levi Richardson and the late Emma Garvin Richardson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Biedler Will, in 1993.
She was a graduate of Winthrop College in Rock Hill, S.C. She was employed with the federal government for many years and retired from her last position with the Adjutant General's Office at Fort Bragg, N.C. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Alison Duley and husband, Rick, of Middletown, MD; one son, Charles Raymond Will and wife, Jill, of Hagerstown, MD; a brother, Hugh Forrest Richardson of Potomac Falls, Va.; and four grandchildren, Bryana Leigh Duley, Shannon Rae Duley, James Bennett Will and Susannah Will.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Elise Richardson and Lois Jackson.
Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, with the Rev. L. Patrick Ricker officiating.
Private interment will be held at a later date at the family plot in Wagener, S.C.
