Wagener – Mrs. Elestine Reynolds West, 87, went to be with her Lord Friday February 22, 2013.
Mrs. West is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Harriette W. and Larry Bowling of Aiken, grandchildren; Jeff Smith, Glynda S. Gracey, Jason Smith, Jamie Childress, Angie Jacobs, Janet Shirah, Larry Bowling, Jr. and John Bowling, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, brother; William “Pete” (Julia Ann) Reynolds of Neeses, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. West was born in Aiken County, the daughter of the late Tillmon and Dorothy Anderson Reynolds. She was also predeceased by her husband Thomas Bennett West, son; Carol Wayne West, sisters; Sylvia Jean Mixon and Laura Frederick Kissiah, and brothers; James “Bo” Reynolds, Elvin Reynolds, and Louie Reynolds. Mrs. West was a member of Berlin Baptist Church.
A Graveside Service will be at 5:00 pm Sunday in the Wagener Cemetery. Visitation will follow the service. Blizzard Funeral Home of Wagener is assisting the family.
The family would like to thank their friends for their loyal support over the past few years and especially the staff of UPAC of Aiken for their care during her stay.
