Orangeburg – Mrs. Willie Mae Wood Bonner Valentine, 85, entered into rest Wednesday February 10, 2016.
Mrs. Willie Mae was the loving mother of Nellie Rae (George) Adkins, Buddy (Karen) Bonner, Lula Mae (Thomas) Lawson, Linda Karen (Larry) Lange, and the late Dora Pearl Smith, Gerald Owens Bonner and David Wayne Bonner, and mother-in-law of Sam Smith and Linda Bonner. Loving Grandmother of 23; Great Grandmother of 36; and Great Great Grandmother of 7. She was the loving sister of Wilbur Wood, Francis (Toby) Harsey, and the late Daisy Wood Hartley, Silas “Cap” Wood, Roy Wood, Ray Wood, Gladys Wood, Lonnie Wood, Bill Wood and Geneviena Wood Kneece. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Pearl Heywood Wood, and the widow of Jesse Bonner and Bobby Valentine.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 pm in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main Street South, Wagener, SC 29164. The Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm Friday also in the chapel. Burial will follow in the Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg, SC.
