Salley - Mrs. Connie Irene Baughman Toole, 82, entered into rest Friday, February 19, 2010.
Mrs. Toole has been the wife of Jonathan Toole of Salley for over sixty-two years, the mother of Joyce (Ken) Ackerman of Travelers Rest, Brenda (Tim) Johnson and Mary Toole of Aiken, and the late Jonathan Toole, grandmother of Matthew Bell, John Curtis Johnson, Brent Johnson and Melissa Dawn, great grandmother of Jake Bell, Emily Bell, Curt Johnson and Heather Johnson, and sister of Vernelle Curtis of Lexington, Marvin Baughman of Wagener and the late Dessie Fulmer, Harvey Baughman, Lola Gantt, Ottie Lee Cooper, and Ruby Cooper.
Mrs. Toole was born in Aiken County, the daughter of the late Lonnie Oakley and Alice Walker Baughman.
Visitation for Mrs. Toole will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in the Hopewell Southern Methodist Church with the Rev. Nathanael Waites officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
