SALLEY – Mrs. Edna Cooper Tindal, 91, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 22.
Mrs. Tindal was born September 5, 1917, the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Victoria Williams Cooper. She was the widow of the late Tommie Lee Tindal.She was a beloved mother of Gail Griffin of Elloree, Diane (Barney) Smith of Winnsboro, Ronnie Tindal, Donnie Tindal and Danny (Kathy) Tindal all of Salley; grandchildren, Regina Buzardt, Freddie Griffin, Marty Griffin, Michelle Howell Amy Kelly, Vickie Phillips, Ken Tindal, Rocky Tindal, Scott Tindal and Rhonda Young; 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and brothers Roy (Joyce) Cooper and Phil (Ruby) Cooper all of Springfield.
Mrs. Tindal was a member of Salley Baptist Church and the Salley Garden Club.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St., South (803) 564-5333 and other times at the home of Danny and Kathy Tindal. The Funeral Service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Salley Baptist Church with the Reverends Paul McCurley and Henry Cooper officiating. She will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service for viewing. Burial will be in the Salley Oakview Cemetery.
