Wagener – Mr. Franklin Eugene “Duck” Strother, Jr., 60, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 13, 2015.
Duck is survived by his daughters, Stacy Brown of Salley and her husband Timothy of Gaston, and Jeanie M. Strother of Lexington; grandchildren, Avery Marie Strother-Reed and Aubree Michelle Strother-Reed; and brothers, Thomas L. Strother and wife Cynthia of Perry, David M. Strother and wife Debbie of Pelion, and James Dean Strother and Steven Burges of Lexington.
Duck was the son of the late Franklin Eugene Strother, Jr. and the late Evelyn Jeffcoat Strother. He was a member of Perry First Assembly of God.
Visitation will be Friday, May 15th from 6 to 7 p.m. at Blizzard Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 7 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel.
