SALLEY –Mrs. Eva Louise Daniels Stewart, 89, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 25, 2014.
Mrs. Stewart was born in Columbia, daughter of the late Bennie B. Daniels, Sr. and Allie Thomas Daniels. She was married to the late Robert “Bob” T. Stewart for 64 years prior to his passing in 2010. She was also preceded in death by sisters Betty D. Roche and Allie D. Ladd, and brother Lovick T. Daniels. Mrs. Stewart graduated from Dreher High School and retired from W. J. Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center where she was an Administrative Assistant. She was a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by her, daughters; Susan (Joseph) Ullrich, Kathy (Sambo) Cooper, and Betty Lou (Charles) Seaberg, grandchildren; Claire (Scott) Miles, Becky (Clint) Brown, Amanda Hightower, Charles Robert Seaberg, Tara S. (William) Trumpf, and Daniel Seaberg, great grandchildren: Hannah Miles, Cooper and Robert Lance Brown, and Julia Hightower, sister Dorothy Sewell (Ronald) Gurney, and brother Bennie “Buddy” ( Betsy) Daniels, Jr., her many nieces and nephews, and her beloved Chihuahua “Bambie”.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main Street South, Wagener. The Funeral Service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Rocky Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend John O’Cain officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons. The Rocky Grove Senior Sunday School Class will be honorary pallbearers.
