Salley - Mrs. Grace Williamson Starnes, 74, entered into rest Monday, December 17.
Grace Starnes, the best wife and mom one could have, is survived by her husband of 57 years, Junnie G. Starnes, children; Glen (Melinda) Starnes, Linda Ann Boles, Johnny Ray (Beverly) Starnes, Nancy Jo (Steve) Roberson all of Salley and Wanda Faye (Stanley) Smith of Lexington, grandchildren; Melissa and Scott Buff, Julian and Jennifer Starnes, Tracey and Stevie Johnson, Kathy Boles, Mac Boles, Brent Starnes, Rickey and Carmen Gleaton, Christy and Chuck Burkett, Daryl Smith, and Lacey Smith, step-grandchildren Ryan and Jessica McGrady, Kathleen and Brandon Smith, Orrie Carver, and Mallary Roberson, great grandchildren Jenna Starnes, Hunter Buff, Cole Buff, Gaige Starnes Gracie Starnes, Gavin Starnes, Dallas Johnson, Natalie Boles, Ava Boles, Jordan Grace Burkett, Kolton Parker Gleaton, step-great grandchildren Alyssa McGrady and Braydon Light, and brothers Colie (Lois), Belvin (Betty Jean), Richard (Anita), and Bobby Williamson.
Grace was born in Orangeburg County, the daughter of the late Bertha and Brice Williamson. She was predeceased by brother L.C. Williamson. She was a member of Clinton United Methodist Church, where she played the piano and sang in the choir.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St. South, Wagener, SC (803) 564-5333.
The Funeral Service will be Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in the Clinton United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Williamson officiating. Mrs. Starnes will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service for viewing. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
