Aiken/Las Vegas NV - Mr. Wallace Smith, Sr., 73, entered into rest Thursday March 13, 2014.
Wallace is survived by his wife, Maria N. Smith of Las Vegas, NV, children: Henry Smith of Milton, FL, Billy Smith of Williston, SC, Patricia Ann Smith of Duncan, SC, Wallace Smith, Jr. of Durant, OK, Tony Wallace Smith of Oklahoma City, OK, and Thelma (James) Gowans of Tooele UT, brothers; James Smith of Summerfield, FL, Bennie Donald Smith of Wagener, SC, and Harry Duncan Smith of Eastover, SC, and eleven grandchildren.
Wallace was born in Johnson County, GA and was the son of James Duncan and Annie Pauline Webb Smith. Wallace was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. His last assignment was an Electronics Instructor at Ft. Jackson until his retirement.
The Viewing will be held at Friday 11:00 am in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main Street South, Wagener, SC with full military honors.
