West Columbia – Mrs. Beulah Evelyn Davis Smith, 95, entered into rest on Sunday March 20, 2011.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her son, Elmer L. Outlaw, Jr. and his wife Daphne “Dee” of Wagener, grandchildren; Sam (Larry) Parker and LeWanda (Dwayne) Fulmer, great grandchildren; Brandi Brown and William T. Koster, brother Richard I. Davis of Columbia, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Smith was born in Columbia to the late David Clarance and Mamie Alice Davis. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Elmer L. Outlaw, Sr. and second husband Rudolph B. Smith, sisters Ada D. McLemore and Billy D. McLemore, and brother David L. Davis. Mrs. Smith was a member of Bethel UMC for over 50 years. She loved sewing, especially hemming baby blankets for the Birth Right program at her church. She worked a Tapps and Berry’s on Main for many years. Mrs. Smith stayed active until a few months ago.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 pm until at the home of Elmer Outlaw, 6239 Wagener Rd., Wagener, SC (803) 564-7171. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 am, Friday  at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, 2603 Two Notch Rd, Columbia, SC with the Rev. Todd Davis officiating. Visitation following the service. Join the family for a meal.
