Wanda Selene Hooker Shiffner
January 22, 1960 - October 6, 2008
Pelion - Wanda Selene Hooker Shiffner, 48, passed away Monday October 6. She is survived by children Heather Shiffner, Ashley Shiffner, Eric Keith, Nicole Miller, Russell King, Candice Covin, Amber Miller, and Ozzie Felder, all of Pelion; grandchildren, Dayrun Keith, Elaysia Keith, Avian Keith; brothers, Timmy Hooker of Neeses, Ricky Hooker of Salley, Kenneth Miller of Pelion, and John Miller of Walterboro; and a sister, Lisa Miller of Pelion. Wanda was the daughter of the late Jackie Brown and Joyce Hooker Miller and was also predeceased by a grandchild Miguel Ulloa. She was a very loving and caring person to all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held Friday, at 2p.m. at the Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, South, Wagener, SC 29164 (803) 564-5333.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Wanda’s family on behalf of the children. An account has been established at Security Federal Bank. Checks can be made payable to a member of Wanda’s family with the “For” designation being: “Wanda Shiffner Memorial Fund”.
