Pelion - Mrs. Marjorie Jane Roberts Shafer, entered into rest Friday, December 27th, 2013.
Mrs. Shafer was the loving wife of Clayton S. Shafer for 57 years until his passing in 2004. Mrs. Shafer is survived by her son Larry Shafer, her loving dogs “Buffy” and “Tinkerbell” and many nieces and nephews, .
Mrs. Shafer was born in Walterboro. She was the daughter of the late Berry Wesley Roberts and Verna Eugenia Jones Roberts and the step daughter of Lena Emma Avant Roberts. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Floyd and Hayman Roberts.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 3:00 pm Monday also in the chapel. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Cemeter.y
