Gloria Ann Rodgers Seigler

Wagener – Ms. Gloria Ann Rodgers Seigler, 77, was received in heaven by the Lord she loved and served so well Saturday, November 15, 2014.
Gloria’s biography will never be penned in history books or movies showcasing her life, but she will never be forgotten by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a genuine godly woman who loved the Lord, which was evident in her speech and action. There is no doubt she accumulated many treasures in heaven. Many children and adults witnessed her faith in actions, and were drawn closer to the Lord because of her ministry-life. The ripple from her life will continue to make a tremendous impact. She lived life to the fullest and loved her family very much. She chose a nursing career because of her compassion for people, which continued her entire life.
Gloria was born in Aiken County to the late Henry Albert and Mildred Louise Bonds Rodgers. She was also preceded in death by her sister Betty Gantt and brother Jack Rodgers.
Left to treasure her love and memories are her daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Ronnie Craps, and Christie and Billy Baugus, grandchildren, Logan and Chris Shealy, Ryan Craps, Brandon and Kathleen Smith, William and Claudia Baugus, and Matthew and Jessica Baugus, great grandchildren, Caroline and Savannah Smith, Aden Baugus, Shane and Blake Baugus, and baby boy Shealy due March 2015, brother Franklin Rodgers, numerous nieces and nephews, and Ms. Gloria’s life long friends Billy and Joyce Gantt.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 pm in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 3 pm Friday at Seivern Baptist Church with the Rev. Geoff Mason officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Craps, Brandon Smith, Will Baugus, Matt Baugus, Darnell Griffin, and Chris Shealy.
