WAGENER - Mr. Alfred Lee Pal Seay, Sr., 78, entered into rest Saturday, January 13, 2007 at his home after a brief illness.
Mr. Seay is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruby Gertrude Haile Seay, children Cynthia Seay Holder (late Mike Holder, Sr.), Carol Seay Witzell (John) and, Alfred Lee Seay, Jr. (Sandra) all of Wagener, Patricia Seay Garvin Dean (Bill) of Hanahan, grandchildren Mike Holder, Jr., Jamie Holder, Glenn Garvin, Jr., Daniel Garvin, Kati Seay and Andy Seay, great granddaughter Hannah Grace Garvin and sister-in-law Nell Drake Seay of Chapin.
Mr. Seay was born in Columbia, the son of the late Layton Hoadley and Lottie Ora Griggsby Seay. He was a member of Bethcar Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in the Army Corp of Engineers during the Korean War.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St. South, Wagener, S.C. (803) 564-5333. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, Jan. 17th at 3:00 p.m. in the Bethcar Baptist Church. Mr. Seay will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service for viewing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
