Salley – Mr. Eddie Dean Rushton, Sr., 60, entered into rest Wednesday, October 20, 2010.
Mr. Rushton is survived by his wife of 39 years Linda Barefoot Rushton, children; Eddie Dean (Chasty) Rushton, Jr., Tammy (Larry) Rice, and Amanda (Jonathan) Rabon, grandchildren; Justin Hall, Ryan Hallback, Brittany Evans, Brandon Evans, Logan Rushton, Dylan Rushton, Zoe Rushton, Jessica Rabon, Jonathan Rabon, Jr., and Christa Rabon, sister Carolyn R. Jeffcoat, brother Kenneth (Linda Kay) Rushton, and sisters and brothers-in-law Joann Rushton, Earlene Rushton, Joanne (Cecil) Boatwright of Seneca, and David (Debra) Barefoot and Wallace (Betty) Barefoot of Aiken.
Mr. Rushton was born in Aiken County, son of the late Albert Lee and Lucy Mae Morris Rushton. He was also predeceased by brothers Tommy, Walter, and James Rushton.
Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Wagener Pentecostal Holiness Church. The Funeral Service will be Friday at 4 pm in the Wagener Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Revs. Brandon Hutson and Eileen Gunnels officiating. Burial will be in the Wagener Cemetery.
