Salley – James Albert Rushton, 67, entered into rest Tuesday, February 3rd.
Mr. James is survived by his wife of 46 years, Earlene S. Rushton, children Jimmy (Josie) Rushton, Donald “Donnie” (Ruthie Renee) Rushton, and Michael (Carolyn) Rushton, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, sister Carolyn Rushton, brothers Kenneth (Linda Kay) Rushton and Eddie (Linda) Rushton, and sister-in-law Joann Rushton.
Mr. James was born in Aiken county, son of the late Albert Lee and Lucy Morris Rushton. He was predeceased by grandson Jimmy Rushton, Jr. and brothers Tommy and Walter Rushton.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St. South, Wagener, SC (803) 564-5333.
The Funeral Service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Calvary Baptist Church with Pastors Alonzo Burton Fulmer and Joey Curado officiating. Mr. James will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service for viewing. Burial will be in the Wagener Cemetery.
