Wagener – Mr. Edward Rushton, 60, entered into rest Thursday, Sept. 20th.
Mr. Rushton is survived by his children; Carl Rushton and Teddy Rushton both of Wagener, and Lillie Rushton Kyzer of Leesville, grandchildren; John Henry, Samantha and Tillman “T.C.” Rushton, and brother Zed Rushton of Wagener. He is predeceased by his parents Oscar Tillman “O.T.” and Lillie Lue Rushton Rushton, and 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
Mr. Rushton was born in Aiken County. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U. S. Army.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 22nd from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St. South, Wagener, S.C. (803) 564-5333.
The Funeral service will be Sunday, September 23rd at 3:00 pm also in the Chapel with the Rev. Brian Thomason officiating. Pallbearers will be Jared Boulware, David Brazell, Craig Neeley, Oscar Rushton, Dean Shealy and Jonathan Wood. Burial will be in the Clinton United Methodist Church Cemetery.
