Springfield – Mr. Reuben Rountree, 78, entered into rest Sunday, September 12, 2010.
Mr. Rountree is survived by his wife of 38 years, Marlene Cooper Rountree. He was the son of the late Quitman and Alma Beck Rountree,
Visitation with the Rountree family is Monday from 6 to 8 pm in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home (803) 564-5333, 163 Main Street South. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Stephen Gantt officiating. Pallbearers are Wayne Barr, Richard Brown, Maury Furtick, Lloyd Morgan, Rufus Morgan, Marty Ramsbotham, and Bill Strickland.
