New Holland – Mrs. Lena Dianne Eidson Redd, 66, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, January 11, 2016.
Dianne is survived by her husband, Wallace L. Redd, children; Wayne and Belinda Johnson, Gene Johnson, Lucy Grenier and Teddy Rushton, George William “Noote” and Lillie Youngblood, Jason Derrick and Stephanie Redd, grandchildren: Jared Johnson, Meg Johnson, Amanda and Eric Ricker, Hailey Johnson, Michael Grenier, Matt Johnson, Chase Johnson and Jenna, Elissa Johnson, Briana Youngblood, McKenzie Youngblood, Sophie Redd and Rachel Redd, great grandchildren: Julian Johnson, Jace Johnson and Amelia Ricker, mother Lena Clark, siblings; Nancy and Charles Shealy, Joyce and Stanley Yon, Johnny and Sherry Eidson and Judy Johnson, Aunt Jeanette Gunter and special sister Kaye Derrick Cooper.
Dianne was the daughter of Lena Catherine Shaw Clark and the late George Wesley Eidson. She was a member of Darien Baptist Church. Dianne loved spending time with family and loved to cook and fish.
Visitation will be Wednesday, from 7-9 pm at Blizzard Funeral Home, 153 Main Street South, Wagener, SC 29164.. Funeral service will be Thursday at 3:00 pm at New Holland Baptist Church, Wagener, with the Rev. Jason Redd officiating. Burial will follow in the New Holland Baptist Church Cemetery.
