Wagener - Mr. Arthur Ballenger Rawls, Sr., 92, entered into rest Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
Mr. Rawls was husband of the late Marion Corbett Rawls, father and father-in-law of the late Wilbur Rawls, Andy Rawls and Olivia, Barbara Jackson, Linda Couillard Rawls, A. B. “Ronnie” Rawls, Jr. and Sherry Lynn, and Sharon Wilson, grandfather of 17, great grandfather of 23, great great grandfather of 12, and brother of the late Leila Hood, Carrie Lou Brown, Bob Rawls, Haskell Rawls and Norma Warner.
Mr. Rawls was born in Aiken County, son of the late Hoyt and Leona Starnes Rawls. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Wagener.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St. South, Wagener, SC. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Joey Curado and Brother Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
