Mrs. Marlene was the wife of Charles Travis Powell for forty-seven years, the mother of Debra Leilani and her husband Kinglsey P. Aweau, Jr., Sky Travis Aaron Powell all of Pelion, Shiloh Lynn Peck Hegel Taclan of Wailuku, HI, Troy Britton and Steve Britton of Louisville, KY, Derrick Kaleikini of Maui, HI and Renee Kaleikini Bueno of Pearl City, Honolulu, HI and 152 beloved foster children. She was the grandmother of Korae Marie Leialohalani Damian and 15 other grandchildren.
Mrs. Marlene was born in Honolulu, HI, and was the daughter of the late Theodore and Julia Costa Freitas
