Wagener – Mr. Robert Richard Pou, 62, entered into rest Wednesday, April 30, 2014.
Richard was the loving husband of Esther Brinson Pou, father of Robbie (Angie Bailey) Pou, Rickie (Gina) Pou, and Beth Benson, grandfather of Jacob Cooper, Zander and Haliey Pou, Grayson and Tristan Smith, Zane, Brennan and Kelison Pou, and Allison, Sean, Erin and Dillon Rolands.
Richard was the son of the late Robert Lee and Mable Mixon Pou. He was a member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church where he was a former deacon and served on the Food Bank Committee. Richard never met a stranger. He loved good stories and collecting treasures (especially things he didn’t have).
Visitation is Friday from 6 to 8 pm in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main Street South. The Funeral Service will be 3 pm Saturday at Rocky Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Whaley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
