ELGIN – Preston Poole, 73, entered into rest Monday April 4, 2016. Mr. Poole was born October 27th, 1944 in Aiken County.
Mr. Poole was the son of the late Tillman and Susie Whetstone Poole. Mr. Poole was preceded in death by his brother Allison “Sonny” Poole, and his two sisters Almeta Whetstone and Iva Dean Harrison.
Mr. Poole is survived by his wife Laurena Poole; his son Kevin (Laurie) Poole of Rio Linda, CA; his daughter Judy (Don) Morgan of Terrell, TX; Dean (Minnie) Williams of Elgin, SC; Cindy (Brian) Miles of Elgin, SC; 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and one very special little buddy Tristyn Watts Senior.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 7th, at 2 PM prior to the services at 3 PM in the Wagner Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home 163 South Main Street; Wagner SC. Burial will be in the Poole family cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Mr. Preston Poole to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210-1790.
