Wagener - Mrs. Patsy Knight Poole “Ma Pat”, 82, went to be with the Lord Sunday December 28, 2014.
Ma Pat is survived by her children, Ann (Wes) McManus, Andy (Jan) Poole, and Wendy Poole; grandchildren; Wesley and Anna McManus, Andrew (Anna) Poole, Patti (Matt) Giftos, Steven (Kathy) Hutto, Ryan and Michael (Traci) Dickson; great grandchildren; Ella Claire, Emily, and Drew Poole, Noah, Collin and Sawyer Hutto, sisters, Sarah Kirkland, Rena (Charlie) Upright, Linda (Ernest) Butler, Margaret Kay (Jim) Kirkland, and Alcyon (Lavern) Bledsoe, and many nieces and nephews.
Ma Pat was born to the late Ellen G. Knight and Fitzhugh Knight, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years; Hoyt, brother Fitz (Alma) Knight, Jr., sisters-in-law; Margaret Bolen and Mary Hatfield, and brother-in-law; W. C. (Juanita) Poole.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday at 3 pm in the Wagener Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Bethcar Baptist Church, where she was a member, at P.O. Box 546 Wagener, SC 29164.
