Salley, SC – Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Roy Pilot, 61, entered into rest on Monday, July 18, 2016.
Mr. Ronnie was the husband of Kathy Pilot for 24 years and the father of Penny Watford, Ronald Pilot II (Jenna), Danny Pilot, Christopher Pilot (Maggie), Adrien Pilot, Caty Pilot, Bart Poole (Stephanie), Wendell Poole (Lynn) and Brad Poole (Tasha). He was the grandfather of Sam May, Matthew Watford, Mykala Pilot, Savannah Pilot, Jocelyn Pilot, William Pilot, Shawn Putten, Chloe Feagin, Christopher McDaniel, Brandon Poole, Sheldon Poole, Dalton Poole, Hannah Poole, Mason Poole, Amelia Poole, Lucius Poole, Hunter Poole, Brice Poole, Joseph Poole and great grandfather of Braedon May and Ariel Watford. He is also survived by his siblings Wanda Pilot and April Pilot. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Emma Miller Pilot, step mother Peggy Pilot and his brother Jerry Pilot.
Mr. Ronnie had his pilot license and enjoyed flying. He was very active in church in Dallas, GA prior to moving to S.C.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 pm in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Funeral Service will follow visitation and begin at 7 pm in with the Rev. Rae Popham officiating.
