West Columbia – Mr. Henry Edward “Eddie” Owens, 64, joined our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 25, 2016.
Eddie is survived by his son Vernon Eugene Owens; brother, David (Ann) Owens; sisters, Nancy (Tony) Piccolo, Mattie (Scottie Vail) Powell, Remona (Eugene) Raines, and Patricia Martin, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Eddie was born in West Columbia, the son of the late James William and Etheline Wallace Owens. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Albert Owens, James “Jim” Owens, Rosalee Daniels, Patsy Dowd, Eugene Owens, Victoria “Vickie” Chapman and Donald Owens.
A Service to Celebrate Eddie’s life will be held at 11 am Saturday, June 4th, 2016 in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am. Burial will be in Fish Hatchery Road Church of God Cemetery,. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services at P. O. Box 235 Wagener, S.C. 29164.
