Wagener - Mrs. Ruby Swanson Owen, 79, entered into rest Thursday, December 16th, 2010.
Mrs. Ruby was the mother of James Trull-Garrison and Johnny (Janet) Cowart, grandmother of Craig (Meredith) Garrison, Krista (Thomas) Motes, Jonathan Cowart and Melissa Cowart, great grandmother of Sara Garrison, Luke Garrison, Joshua Overstreet, Breanna Motes, and Catlyn Cowart, and sister of Neal Swanson.
Mrs. Ruby was born in Hayesville, NC, the daughter of the late Frank Andrew and Flora Bell Garrison Swanson. She was the widow of Boyd B. Owen and her first husband Stacy L. Trull. Mrs. Ruby was a member of Gateway Outreach Christian Ministries.
The family will receive friends at Gateway Ministries Sunday from 2 to 3 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. also at Gateway Ministries with the Rev. Francis Ravenell and brother Phillip Epps officiating. Burial will be in the Wagener Cemetery.
