Wagener – Mrs. Sara Elizabeth Hawkins Miller Ooten, 72, entered into rest Tuesday, December 23, 2008.
Mrs. Ooten was born in Rutherford County, TN, the daughter of the late George Arthur and Melissa Mangrumm Hawkins and beloved wife of the late Willie Thomas Miller and the late Lee H. “Buddy” Ooten. She was a member of the Live Oak Baptist Church in Hopkins.
Mrs. Ooten is survived by sons David Miller, Michael Miller, and Chris (Lisa) Ooten, all of Wagener and George (Regina) Ooten of Leesville, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 2 pm at the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St., South, Wagener, SC 29164, (803) 564-5333 with Chaplain Martha Vinson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
