Rome – Mrs. Julie Sue Cook Neighbors, 61, entered into rest Thursday, November 24, 2016 surrounded by her family.
Julie was the wife of the late Anthony Leon Neighbors. She was the mother of Kristy and Nick Blodgett, Dustin Neighbors, and Cody and Rachel Neighbors, grandmother of Camden Frost and Danielle Neighbors, sister of Jimmy and Patsy Cook, Ronnie and Sybil Cook, the late Patricia Crowley, daughter of the late J.B. and Marion Cook.
Julie had a passion for helping others; she was an elementary school teacher for 32 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a true fighter.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday at 11 am at Bethcar Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to curechildhoodcancer.org.
