Wagener – Mr. Earl Allen Mixon, 95, entered into rest Friday, February 21, 2014.
Mr. Mixon was the loving husband for 53 years to the late Mrs. Sylvia Jean “Jeannie” Reynolds Mixon until her passing in 2011. He is also survived by his brother-in-law William “Pete” (Julia Ann) Reynolds and nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Edward Holley “Shug” and Atta Belle Mundy Mixon.
Visitation is Saturday from 6 to 8 pm in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main Street South. The Funeral Service will be 3 pm Sunday also held in the Chapel with Pastor Wayne Whaley officiating. Burial will be at Bethcar Baptist Church following the service with military honors.
