Wagener — Mr. Harold “Hal” William Millwood, 69, entered into rest Friday, August 7, 2015.
Hal was the loving husband of Carol Brown Millwood for forty-two years. He was the loving father of Jason William Millwood (Sarah Sandberg) of Aiken and Jennifer Carol Millwood (V. J. Lirio, III) of Lexington; and the son of Emily Lemmonds Millwood of Pacolet and the late William “Bill” Millwood. Hal was the brother-in-law of James Earl Brown and Mavis of Salley, O’Shield Brown, Jr. and Emily of Wagener, Gloria Jean Smith and Jon of Salley, Mack Brown and Ruby of South Congaree, Judy Barr and Wayne of Springfield, and Winston Brown and Peggy Autry of Salley.
Hal attended Spartanburg Methodist College and the University of South Carolina. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He was a QA Specialist in the Nuclear field for over forty years in various states in the U. S. and in South America.
Visitation with the family will be at the Salley Baptist Church on Saturday from 1 to 2:30 pm. The Memorial Service will follow at 3 pm also in the Salley Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Proveaux officiating.
