Zora Tatalovich Milasnovich
November 29, 1916- December 31, 2007
Mrs. Zora Tatalovich Milasnovich, age 91, of Irmo, South Carolina and previously of Youngstown, Ohio died in Houston, Texas Monday, December 31st after a brief illness.
Zora was born in Aliquippa, PA and is the daughter of the late Nick and Eva (Radulovich) Tatalovich. Her husband of 33 years, Milan Milasnovich, predeceased her in 1973. Survivors include her loving children Nick Milasnovich and his wife Kathy of Irmo, Janice M. Cooley and her husband Daniel of Oxford, CT and Nancy Milasnovich of Houston, TX; her loving grandchildren Monica M. Parker, Zachary Cooley and Erin M. Gordon, and her four great-grandchildren; Anna and Reid Parker, and Joshua and Jackson Cooley, her sisters Martha Lile and Nadine Raskowsky. Zora was also predeceased by her sisters; Evelyn Sapp and Sophia DuBarry and brothers Milan Tatalovich and Alex Tatalovich. While living in Youngstown, Ohio, she was a member of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox church. Moving to Irmo in 1979, she became a member of the Holy Apostles Orthodox Church in West Columbia where her heart and soul resided. She was loved and honored by the members of Holy Apostles and she returned that love.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Holy Apostles Orthodox Church, 724 Buff Street, West Columbia, concluding with a Panikhida Service, for those fallen asleep, from 7 to 8 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Holy Apostles Orthodox Church with Father Thomas Moore officiating. The committal service will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Saints Mary and Martha Monastery cemetery, 65 Spinner Lane, Wagener, SC. The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Holy Apostles Orthodox Church at 724 Buff Street, West Columbia, SC 29169 Blizzard Funeral Home, 153 Main St. South, Wagener, SC (803) 564-5333 is assisting the family.
