Lexington — Mr. Michael “Mike” Elijah Miklosky, 62, crossed the finish line of his last marathon, Tuesday, August 18, 2015.
Mike graduated from Pelion High School in 1971. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army having served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hiking the outdoors, running marathons, and was an avid Gamecock fan.
Mike is survived by his son Nicholas (Annavee Andry) Miklosky; Nicholas’s mother, Vicki Miklosky; brother, Nick (Janet) Miklosky; sisters, Annette Miklosky and Tayae Cooley; nieces, Jill Miklosky (William) Godfrey, Anna Miklosky Cooley; great-nieces, Abigail, Emma June, Natalie, and Tenley. He is predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Doris June Atkins Miklosky.
There will be a gathering of family and friends Saturday, August 22nd at 6:00 pm to celebrate the life of Mike in his favorite pastime, a Gamecock style tailgate party at 528 Crytal Springs Rd, Lexington, SC 29073
