WAGENER - A memorial service for Mrs. Joyce Gail Casey Lybrand, 74 (39 and holding), will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday January 11, 2007 at the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St., South, Wagener, SC 29164, with the Rev. Milford Oswald officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 10th from 7 to 9 p.m., also in the Chapel.
Mrs. Lybrand was born in Carter County, TN, the daughter of the late Ernest William and Margaret Henry Casey. She was the widow of Frederick Shooter Lybrand, and also predeceased by sisters Hazel Fair, Nell Potts and Violet Price and brothers, Mark, Luke, Bill, and John Casey. She was a nurse in Wagener for Dr. Brodie and owner of Lybrand Auto Parts for many years. Mrs. Lybrand is survived by children Terry and Waylon Johnson and Murphy and Virginia Lybrand, all of Wagener, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a sister Marion Moody of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
