Wagener – Mr. James “Jim” Edward Lybrand, Sr., 84, entered into rest Monday, November 14, 2016 surrounded by his family.
Jim was born December 5, 1931 to the late Allen B. and Cora Belle Toole Lybrand. He was also predeceased by his brother; Al D. Lybrand and sisters, Vickie Jane Lybrand, Nita Stoudenmire, and Gussie Cook.
Jim is survived by his children; Leigh Amiele Lybrand, and James “Jim” Edward Lybrand, Jr. Linda Lybrand Henderson was his caregiver and the mother of Leigh and Jim. He is also survived by his sister-in-law; Joyce Lybrand and very special nieces and nephews.
Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Wagener United Methodist Church. Jim enjoyed camping with the Capital City SAMS camping club.
Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 11 am on Saturday, November 19th 2016. Military Honors will be presented by the U. S. Air Force Honors Team. Visitation will follow the service.
