Pelion – Joey Dean Lucas, 47, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 due to heart complications.
Joey was the son of Gretchen Bari Lucas and the late James Loyd Lucas Sr. He was the brother of Jacquelyn E. Lucas, Bridgette D. (Harold) Still and the late James Loyd Lucas Jr. He was the father of Cheyenne Lucas, Caleb Lucas, and Isaac Lucas, fiancé of Crystal Michael, grandson of Jackie and Delma Tanner, Mildred and the late Lowell Smith, the late Leila Mae and the late Otis M. “Doc” Lucas.
Joey was a carpenter and caregiver to his mother. He had a heart of gold. He was greatly loved and will be missed by many family members and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, from 3 to 4 pm at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home in Wagener, SC. Memorial Service will immediately follow.
