Salley – Mr. Wilbur Love, 73, entered into rest Thursday, January 29, 2015.
Mr. Wilbur was born in Orangeburg County, son of the late Shellie and Pearl Knight Love. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Leonard Love and Charles Love. Mr. Wilbur was a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Wilbur is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Jean Hoover Love; children, Thomas Love, Donnie (Cindy) Love, and Troy Love; grandchildren, Lee (Michelle) Love, Donna Faye Love, McKenzie (Derek) Moore, Quincy (Katie) Love, Corey Love, and Taylor Love; great grandchildren, Maci Love, Rylan Moore, and Olivia Love; brothers, Jackie (Juanita) Love, Robert (Edna) Love, Billy (Bonnie) Love, sisters, Shirley (the late John) Martin, and Carolyn (Bill) Frye, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 pm at Blizzard Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 3 pm at Rocky Grove Baptist Church, Salley, SC, with the Reverend John O’Cain officiating. Mr. Wilbur will be placed in the church for viewing one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
