Wagener- Mr. Jackie Pierre Lemacks, 76, entered into rest Saturday, November 7, 2015.
Mr. Jackie was the husband of 13 years to Dianne Calvert Lemacks; father and father-in-law of Victoria Marchant, Jackie (Marcia) Lemacks Jr., Michelle (Shawn Harrington) Lemacks, Tami (Harry “Dee”) O’Brien, Todd (Laura) Brazell, and the late Jerry Lemacks and Benjamin Brazell. He was the brother of Gisele Lemacks, Jean Lhirondelle, Red (Carol) Lemacks, Jimmy (Shirley) Lemacks, Doran (Keith) Morgan, Brenda Lemacks, J.P. Lemacks, and the late Linda Lemacks. Mr. Jackie was the grandfather of Donnie Bailey, Michael Marchant, Johnathan Marchant, Aubrey Harrington, Holly (James) Griffin, Hannah O’Brien, Forest O’Brien, Summer O’Brien, Perry Odom, Luna Brazell, Elijah Brazell. He was the great grandfather of Kayce Bailey and Benjamin Black. Mr. Jackie also had many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jackie was the son of the late Pierre Lhirondelle and Suzanne Lhirondelle Lemacks. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force Guard.
A Memorial Service will be held 11 am Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Berlin Baptist Church with Pastors Barry Gray and George Koon officiating. A Committal Service will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Wagener Women’s Well, a Christ Central Ministry at PO Box 684 Wagener, SC, 29164.
