Richard "Dick" Laudenslager

Wagener – Mr. Richard “Dick” Laudenslager, 78, entered into rest Tuesday, June 29, 2010.
Mr. Laudenslager was born in North Whitehall, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Martin B. and LuLu A. Schroder Laudenslager. He was predeceased by his wife of forty-seven years; Shirley Y. Doster Laudenslager, and his grandson; Bryan Glen “Puddin” Laudenslager.
Mr. Laudenslager is survived by his children and their spouses; Douglas R. and Janice Laudenslager of Wagener, and Richard D. Laudenslager and Michelle Thomas Cox of Gilbert. He had 2 granddaughters; Dawn and Kevin Richbourg, and Tabitha Laudenslager and 1 great granddaughter; Jodi Laudenslager Thompson, brother and sister-in-law Donald and Janie Laudenslager and sister and brother-in-law Mary and Charles Lellyo of PA. Mr. Laudenslager was a Korean War Veteran of the U. S. Army, a sergeant when he was discharged. He was a member and finance officer of the American Legion Post # 25 in Arizona. He worked as a construction superintendent for many years.
A Memorial Service and Reception will be held for Mr. Dick Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm at the home of Doug and Janice Laudenslager (606 Shadow Lane Road). Friends may call at the residence (803)-564-5103 and/or email; dawnlauden@yahoo.com.
