Susie Louella Holsomback Kitchings

Perry – Mrs. Susie Louella Holsomback Kitchings, 83, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 10, 2011.
Mrs. Kitchings was the loving wife of 54 years to the late McLane “Dude” Kitchings. She was a resident of Perry for 58 years and being most recently at Perry Elder Care.
Mrs. Kitchings is survived by her children; Larry and Gay Kitchings of Springfield, Vickie and Joey Heyward of Prosperity, and Robert and Shirley Kitchings of Springfield. She was the loving grandmother of Kippy Winstead, Melissa Dawn, Heather Hammett, Jody Heyward, Tracey Poole, and Star Counts. She was also the loving great grandmother of Dustin Waller, Alexis Waller, Jackson Hammett, Mallory Hammett, Hollis Poole, Halee Brock, Hunter Brock, and Ivy Carver. She is also survived by her sisiters; Mary Hastings of Edgefield SC and Francis Cook of Timberlake NC.
Mrs. Kitchings was the daughter of the late Tom and Annie Herrin Holsomback. She was also predeceased by her brothersl Thomas, CJ, Leon, George, Wylie, and Henry Holsomback and also her sister Catherine Kairnan.
Visitation is Monday from 6 to 8 pm in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main Street South. The Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Perry Baptist Church where she was a member.
