Springfield- Mrs. Ruth Madeline Williams Stevenson Kaminer, 94, entered into rest Tuesday, July 12th, 2011.
Mrs. Kaminer is survived by her sons; Arnold “Skip” Stevenson and Claxton “Sam” (Patsy) Stevenson, 8 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and a few great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Kaminer was the daughter of the late Wesley Ravenel and Maggie Frances Williams. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Govan Stevenson and second husband Charles Kaminer, and sons Wesley and Christopher Stevenson. She was the last surviving of 12 siblings, (9 girls and 3 boys).
Mrs. Kaminer was a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rocky Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. John O’Cain officiating. Burial will be in the Salley Oakview Cemetery.
