Pelion – Mr. Clinton Lee Johnson, 84, went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 19, 2009.
Mr. Johnson was the loving husband of Annie Mae Barnes Johnson for 60 years. He was the father of Luanne (Richard) Poole, grandfather of Lisa (Trey) Wren and Joey Poole, and great grandfather of Katelyn and Jeanna Wren.
Mr. Johnson was born in Aiken County, the son of the late Clinton Henry and Mary Ethel Lott Johnson. He was also predeceased by brothers Bruce and Frank Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a life-long, and the oldest member of the Rocky Springs Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be Thursday at 3 pm in the Rocky Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Adam Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at Blizzard Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm. Mr. Johnson will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service for viewing.
