Pelion – Mrs. Martha Edna Hall Johnson, 85, entered into rest Saturday March 12, 2016.
Mrs. Edna was the mother of the late Brenda (Roy) Poole and Alice Brown. She was the loving Grandmother of Major Ben (Kelly) Poole, USAF of Shreveport, LA, and David (Kristalyn) Poole of Pelion, and Great Grandmother of William Baker Poole, Johanna Clare Poole, Nathaniel Anthony Poole, McKenna Avery Poole, and Jackson Baker Poole. Mrs. Johnson was the widow of Bruce Johnson and the daughter of the late Joe and Florence Franklin Hall. She was the sister of Louise (Buddy) McGlocklin of Ridge Spring and Johnny (Donnell) Hall of Aiken and the late Julina “Jill” (Tom) Newsome, the late William "Bill" Hall, and the late Joe Hall. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Bethcar Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 7 pm in the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main Street South, Wagener, SC 29164. The Memorial Service will follow at 7 pm also in the chapel.
