Wagener – Mr. Rollo Tillman Jeffcoat, 79, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 27, 2008.

Mr. Jeffcoat was born in Orangeburg County, the son of the late Charlie Tillman and Carrie Hutto Jeffcoat .He was the loving husband of Thelma Chavis Jeffcoat for 54 years. He was a member of the Perry Baptist Church and was a devoted servant in God’s house. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Jeffcoat was the loving father of Al (Sandra) Jeffcoat of Salley, Karen (Michael) Williams of Wagener, and Tracy Jeffcoat of Wagener and grandfather of Jamie Jeffcoat, Kelley Jeffcoat, Josh Moore, Justin Hallman, Sarah Williams, and Kaila Jeffcoat. He is also survived by a sister, Ludie Smith of Wagener and a brother, Clarence (Joan) Jeffcoat of Vinland, NJ. He was preceded in death by 10 siblings.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the Wagener Chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home, 163 Main St., South, Wagener, SC 29164, (803) 564-5333. The Funeral Service will be Monday at 3 pm in the Rocky Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. John O’Cain officiating. Burial will follow at the Salley Oakview Cemetery. Mr. Jeffcoat will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service for viewing. Memorials may be made to Rocky Grove Baptist Church Community Mission Fund, P.O. Box 508, Salley, SC 29137.
